Memorial stone destroyed
Meanwhile, Sohmat lodged a complaint that on March 22 eight persons destroyed one memorial stone and threatened the office bearers of the Hima with dire consequences.
“These opportunists who claim to represent the people of the Hima even destroyed the Monoliths at the Hima’s office despite knowing that the memorial stones stand for unity among the people,” he said.
Earlier, the Synjuk ki Riew Rangbah representing the people falling under the Hima of Malai-Sohmat Syiemship had slammed the KHADC CEM, for removing Iawrod as the Syiem of Hima Malai-Sohmat and appointing Francis Sohmat as the acting Syiem.
