The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed that in the aftermath of the cyclone, an Emergency Operation Centre has been established in Shillong and toll free calls may be made to 1077 or Landline Number 0364-2502094 for any disaster related inquiries.
Lok Adalat
The District & Session Judge/District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh will organize a monthly Lok Adalat on labour and family matters at the office of the District & Session Judge, Nongpoh on April 9 from 10 AM.
The District Legal Services Authority, West Garo Hills, is organizing a daylong National Lok Adalat at Tura on April 9 for resolving issues related to labour and family matters.
Golden Jubilee
