Farmers interact with agriculture experts

SHILLONG: Over 200 farmers from different villages of Ri-War Pynursla interacted with experts in the field of agriculture recently on the techniques for a better harvest.
Experts from Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR), Horticulture, Soil and Water Conservation and Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) interacted with the farmers.
The officials from ICAR under the leadership of Dr A.K. Tripathi urged the villagers to choose a village from Ri-War region to implement the scheme ‘My Village My Pride’.
The officials assured that they will examine the plant diseases of oranges, peppers, betel nuts and others.
