No salary for new jail recruits

SHILLONG: As many as 80 jail staff including assistant jailors who were appointed in March this year are yet to receive their salary. A few newly recruited aggrieved staff said that this would put them in difficulty. “Though we worked for the whole month, the non- release of salary will lead to many inconveniences” one of the new recruits said.
