Birth anniv
The Tibetan Women’s Association, Shillong will be commemorating the 27th Birth Anniversary of the 11th Panchen Lama Gedhun Choekyi Nyima on April 25 at 9:30 am at the Tibetan monastery, Upper Lumparing.
Awareness programme
The Meghalaya State Commission for Women will organize a Legal Awareness Programme for women to be supported by M/s Karshan Consulting Private Limited, New Delhi on April 27 at the Shillong Club at 11 am. The programme will be inaugurated by Social Welfare Minister Deborah Marak.
Web based training
The Meghalaya Information Technology Society (MITS) in association with Arena Animation, Shillong (Global InfoTech) will provide graphic and web based trainings to the youth of the state. The first batch of 50 students has already undergone training under the programme which is being run in phases.
