Clothes donated
Niaw Wasa Youth Federation donated summer clothes to poor rural households at Tamu, a remote Jaintia village on Friday. The federation expressed dismay at the lack of attention by State Government to the development of backward villages of the State.
World Earth Day celebrated
NSS Unit of Jaintia Eastern College, Khliehriat in collaboration with the Office of Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills, Khliehriat observed World Earth Day on April 22 at Jaintia Eastern College, Khliehriat. R. Manner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat graced the function as chief guest.
