SHILLONG: Three persons allegedly set fire to betel-nut plantation at Darechikgre village leading to huge loss. Rodrick A Sangma lodged a complaint that on April 23 at about 6.10 pm, three persons viz, Sadan Momin, Paseng Marak and Rajen Marak set fire to his betel-nut plantation at Darechikgre village (WGH). As a result, several betel-nut plants were gutted.
