Verdict on Small Phawa case today

SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya will pronounce its verdict on the acquittal of Small Phawa who was allegedly raped a minor in 2011.The accused will be appearing before High Court on Thursday.
Earlier, after the fast track court acquitted Phawa, the mother of the rape victim made an appeal before Meghalaya Legal Service Authority to take up the matter in the High Court.Following this, the matter came up for hearing in the High Court.
