May Day

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Joint Council of Trade Unions and Associations, the apex body of all trade unions and associations of the State, will observe ‘May Day’ on May 1, with flag hoisting and workers and employees rally in Shillong.  The ‘May Day Flag’ will be hoisted at 10.30 a.m. followed by paying homage to May Day Martyrs at the Parking Lot (Opposite Central Telegraph Office, Vivekananda Road).
