SHILLONG: One person has been drowned while fishing at Kyndongrylla Umiam in East Khasi Hills. The incident happened on Saturday afternoon when one Raja Singstar Nongsiej (39) along with two others — Akwila Nongsiej (29) and Ebelson Nongsiej (7) — were fishing in a boat at Kyndongrylla Umiam. Akwila got drowned when the ill-fated boat capsized.
