SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills district police chief M Kharkarang insisted that   migrant workers should be registered with police to control crime.
Speaking at the first VDP Rally of  Dangar Circle  held  at Dangar Community Hall for all villages falling under Dangar Outpost on May 2, Kharkrang said that there is a need to get migrant workers registered for better policing
He also created awareness on crime against women, besides educating people on false allegation of witch hunting which has led to  the death of many innocent people.
