Relief distributed

SHILLONG: Sanbor Shullai, MLA cum Chairman and the members of the MLA Charitable Council (MCC),  South Shillong Constituency have extended immediate financial and materials relief to all the victims (within  the constituency) who were affected by the hailstorm that had hit the city on the April 17. The affected families were provided with cash and CGI sheets and other relief materials amounting to Rs. 75000 funded through  MLA’s salary earnings. A statement in this regard said that this support is only a preliminary help and the local MLA has taken up their requirements for full financial help.
