Constable suffers head injuries, dies

SHILLONG: A constable of the 1st MLP Battalion died after he collapsed at Umlyngka in East Khasi Hills.The incident happened on Wednesday when Bernard Kharjana (32) collapsed near his residence at Umlyngka.He sustained head injuries and succumbed to his injuries. The cadaver was sent to Shillong Civil Hospital for post mortem examination.
