HNLC cadre surrenders

SHILLONG: An HNLC cadre identified as Korlandar Nongsiej surrendered before the Officer In-Charge of Lumdiengjri police station on Tuesday.Nongsiej had joined HNLC in October, 2014 and had been in Nunsara and Puthisara areas of Bangladesh till May 2, 2016 and had received training on drill and arms handling.He worked under the command of Phrangkupar Diengdoh @ Bah Hep Metal. He managed to flee from Puthisara on May 1 and crossed the international border from Dawki.
