Tenants asked to vacate land

SHILLONG: The headman of Nongsder has filed a complaint that some persons went to Pyllun village and instructed five tenants to vacate the land.
During the enquiry, it was learnt that the land owner had asked the tenants to vacate the place as the land has been compensated by the Government for Airport expansion. All the tenants have vacated, except for one tenant Belinda Lapang refused to vacate, as she has obtained an interim order from KHADC court. Matter is under enquiry.
