Cattle theft reported from several EKH villages

SHILLONG: Several villages in East Khasi Hills have been affected by the theft of cattle and sheep in the last few weeks. As per reports from the villages of Mawreng, Lyngkien and Mawngap Rim falling under East Khasi Hills, there were a series of thefts of cattle and goats, especially at night.
There was also a case of theft of buffalo from Mawngap Rim and six goats from Mawreng.
The residents have already sought the intervention of the police to arrest the culprits.
