Teachers’ body to meet Mukul

SHILLONG: The Federation of All Meghalaya Ad hoc Secondary School Teachers’ Association has been given a June 1 appointment by the Chief Minister to discuss their demand for enhancement of salary of primary to higher secondary level teachers of all ad hoc grant in aid schools of the State.
This was informed by the Federation following its executive meeting here on Saturday.
The Federation members pointed out they have met the officials of the Education department time and again with regards to the proposal sent by the Director of Education for the enhancement of teachers’ salary.
The Federation also made it clear that E Kharbamon was no longer its executive member or secretary.
