Umsning Bye pass

SHILLONG: Nearly eighty percent of earth cutting work of the Umsning Bye pass has been completed. Informing this here on Monday, an official source, however, said that   work has slowed down now due to the onset of monsoon. Once the   bye-pass is completed, Umiam-Jorabat four-lane  road project would finally see its completion. The 5.6  kilometer road is scheduled to be completed in June next year.
