SHILLONG: A youth hailing from Ri Bhoi was arrested here on Monday for duping people by offering them fake government jobs.
The accused identified as Airbeit Kharbani (29) offered government jobs to several unemployed youths.
It was with the help of HNPF members and a victim identified as M. Mynsong that the police arrested Kharbani. The accused had taken Rs 50,000 from Mynsong for securing him a job in a bank in Ri Bhoi.
