RESUBELPARA: A Garo politician from neighbouring Assam won the Assembly polls on a BJP ticket.    Numal D Momin (30) from Bokajan Assembly constituency in Assam defeated his next rival Klengdo Ingty by a margin of 4744 votes.Momin became lone Garo MLA of Assam after the creation of Meghalaya.Momin said he will raise the issues concerning the entire Garo Community in Goalpara, Kamrup and other minority Communities of Assam. “ I will try my level best to uplift Garo Community in Assam”, Momin said.
