Art lovers out to capture State’s beauty

SHILLONG: A group of art lovers from Slovakia and Czech Republic in association with the Shillong Public School is working on a programme aimed at capturing the beauty of the State through art and music.
The programme titled ‘Artist Point’ involves creation of paintings depicting the beauty of Meghalaya and even production of a documentary to be shown in film festivals across Europe.
This was informed by Slovakian artist Jana Bednarova during a press interaction here on Saturday.
The group will also organize a workshop for children in Sohra as part of their programme.
She also informed that the final exhibition of their work will be held at Asean Confluence here on May 28.
