Petrol pump employees assaulted
Unidentified miscreants recently assaulted employees of a petrol pump at Mawlai Nongkwar. Police said that the incident happened on May 24 when the miscreants went to the petrol pump at Mawlai Nongkwar Block-13, Shillong and assaulted its employees.  In the incident, one of the victims sustained grievous injuries and was removed to Dr. H. Gordon Robert Hospital.
Bank account hacked
Shyam Prasad lodged a complaint that on May 20 night, unknown miscreants hacked his bank account and fraudulently transferred Rs. 2,70,000 to an ICICI bank account of one Krishna at Wokha Branch, Nagaland. The money was debited on the same night.
Driver missing with vehicle
Sanjit Kumar, site manager, M/s GR Infra Projects Ltd., Jowai (WJH) lodged a complaint that on May 22 evening, one Bolero (ML-11-1262) belonging to the company was found missing from a guest house at Khliehriat West (EJH) along with its driver, Jinluman Borah.
Stone pelting
Unidentified miscreants pelted stones on two Supplementary Public Transport Service vehicles at Khliehriat in East Jaintia Hills. Kerie Shariang, Raymond Bareh and Epdang Bthuh, drivers of Jowai SPTS buses lodged a joint complaint that the miscreants pelted stones on the buses on May 20.
