BJP condemns dismantling of cremation ground

SHILLONG: The state BJP has expressed concern over the reported dismantling of a cremation ground at Nongpoh in Ri- Bhoi. “The party would soon approach the District Administration and State Government to ensure religious and communal harmony in the area and to initiate steps so that nobody takes law into their own hands,” BJP general secretary David Kharsati said in a statement.
