SHILLONG: Raid Laban Sports, Social and Cultural Organisation has announced the launch of 13th meritorious awards for students which is being organized in collaboration with the Government of Meghalaya.
The awards are based on the achievements in various examinations such as SSLC/HSSLC/ICSE/CBSE/ISC/Degree during the academic year 2016 by students who have excelled in their relevant examinations securing 1st division and above.
The award will also be conferred to the disabled/poor dropout and deserving successful students who have passed out in any division.
Forms will be available at the office of the organization c/o Sanbor Shullai MLA (President) at New Kench’s Trace here from 7:00 am to 11:00 am daily.
Last date of submission of forms is August 5, 2016.
The toppers of all categories will be awarded with laptop sets. All meritorious students will also be awarded financial assistance in the form of fixed deposit scheme.
