Prohibitory order
The Sub Divisional Officer (C), Mairang has imposed a prohibitory order under section 144CrPC prohibiting illegal/rampant dumping of garbage in public places like roads, footpaths, rivers, forest areas, as well as National and State Highways in the Sub-Division of Mairang.

Free health camps
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited conducted comprehensive free health check-up camps at 95 locations across India recently under its CSR initiative, where qualified doctors conducted health check-up & various pathological tests on the site. Free medicines were also distributed to the public.

With an aim to provide best medical advice to the people of Meghalaya, Kolkata-headquartered Medica Superspecialty Hospital, will organise a special OPD clinic at Bethany Hospital on June 10 from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
