SHILLONG: The Office of the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills has informed that due to traffic congestion in and around Mawlai Nongpdeng area the route from Mawlai Nongpdeng Bridge towards Jingthangbriew has been declared “One way”.
Henceforth, vehicles will enter from Mawlai Nongpdeng towards Jingthangbiew only and no vehicles will be allowed to enter from the junction at Mawlai Phudmuri towards Mawlai Nongpdeng bridge. The new arrangement will be effective on a trial basis from June 15-21.
