Lapang condoles Assam Congress chief’s death

SHILLONG: DD Lapang, chairman, North East Congress Coordination Committee and president, Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed profound grief and sorrow at the sudden demise of Anjan Dutta, president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC).
Lapang recalled how late Dutta as a minister in Assam, tremendously contributed to the growth of the State. Lapang felt that the big void created by Dutta’s demise would be difficult to fill. He also prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
