SHILLONG: KHADC CEM PN Syiem has embarked on a mission to ensure a better work culture in the Council.
Starting from the 64th anniversary of the formation of KHADC on Monday, the Council will take steps to ensure a better work culture, Syiem said on Sunday.
Several programmes are scheduled in the Council for Monday.
While experts including OL Snaitang will speak on the formation of the district council during the meeting of the staff and MDCs on Monday at 1 pm, Natalie West Kharkongor will talk on the much needed work culture on the occasion.
According to Syiem, all the staff are expected to come on time for the talks and an attendance register will be kept to ensure maximum participation of the Council employees.
“The main objective of holding the function is to inculcate work culture for better delivery of services,” he said.
“Many people come to the KHADC to avail various services and the staff should be prompt to provide them on time,” Syiem said.
