Convocation

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Information Technology Society (MITS) has tied up with Arena Animation, Shillong (Global InfoTech) to provide graphics and web based training to the youth of the State.
The programme is being run in phases and in the fourth phase, 50 students successfully completed their training.  A convocation ceremony was held for these students here on Monday.
The Arena Animation recently also conducted a job fair and a company from Dehradun, “Knowledge Podium Systems Pvt. Ltd selected students at a total CTC of Rs 173,062 (annual) apart from other facilities during the event. Speaking at the convocation programme, IT Minister AL Hek congratulated the selected students.
