SHILLONG: The All Meghalaya SSA School Teachers’ Association (AMSSASTA), Ri-Bhoi clarified that there was no attempt by the members of the association to direct the teachers to submit their photo, biodata, marksheet and documents containing personal information to the leaders of the association.
In a statement issued here, Daniel Maring publicity secretary said, “The association deals only in the welfare of the members and will not ask the members to submit their details to us but if the association intends to do so it will be discussed at the general meeting.”
“If the office of the District Mission Coordinator State Education Mission Authority of Meghalaya DMC (SEMAM-SSA) requires the teachers’ details, they must submit on their own,” Maring added.
AMSSASTA, Ri-Bhoi will organize a general meeting on July 16 at Nongpoh and has requested all the members to be present at the meeting, the release said.
