SHILLONG: The former Sordar of Laitdiengsei village has been accused of misappropriating Rs. 22,500 from the fund meant for construction of a community hall in the village.
BDO, Mawkynrew C&RD Block, W.B. Marbaniang, filed a complaint that Phillip Kharumnuid, ex-Sordar of Laitdiengsei village misappropriated the money released to him by the government on November 8, 2004 for construction of a community hall in the village.
