SHILLONG: The Joint Council of Meghalaya Rural Bank’s Union has announced that the union will be organising various agitational programmes at a Trade Union Convention held at the Arts and Culture Hall, State Central Library on Saturday.
There will be various agitational programmes ahead in RRB sector with a countrywide massive demonstration at RRBs HQ calling for a three-day strike in RRBs from July 27 to 29 demanding the withdrawal of SLP from apex court by the Government of India and extension of pension parity.
Other demands included pension parity, implementation of compassionate appointment scheme in RRBs with retrospective effect, parity of service regulation at par with sponsor bank.
