Theft
Kitborlang Bareh lodged a complaint that on the morning of July 8, two persons Ruby Dohling (36) and Jones Shadap (40) were caught red-handed while stealing iron rods from a construction site at Lachumiere.
On July 6 afternoon, unknown miscreants stole twenty-four batteries valued around Rs. 98,000 from a Vodafone mobile tower at Ummulong West Jaintia Hills.
On July 6, unknown miscreants stole one cell phone belonging to Abbot Warjri at Iewduh.
Assault
On July 8 at around 11.30 pm, unidentified miscreants in a vehicle (ML-10B-1249) assaulted Nester John Syiem (28) at IGP Point, and also stole his cell phone.
Prontis Lamurong lodged a complaint that on June 27, at around 6 pm, one Onli Shylla along with his accomplices assaulted his brother Korent Lamurong and robbed him of Rs. 1 lakh at Mooknor  village, East Jaintia Hills. The miscreants also took away one gun belonging to his brother (L) Well Lamurong.
Attempt to murder
Nangroi Muksor lodged a complaint that on July 7 at around 10 am, one Bapaia Dkhar attempted to murder her and her son by drowning them in a river at Sakhleng village, West Jaintia Hills.
Woman threatened
A woman lodged a complaint that on July 5 at around 12.15 pm, two unidentified miscreants in a motorcycle (without registration number), waylaid her vehicle at Makjat village, West Jaintia Hills and threatened her that one Joe Nongrum will kill her if she informs the police about his illegal sheltering Bangladeshi nationals in his residence at Tamabil, Dawki, West Jaintia Hills.
