Nongstoin CH doctor threatened

SHILLONG: A doctor based at Nongstoin civil hospital in West Khasi Hills was allegedly threatened by a group of persons who accusing her of not attending to a patient.
Police said five unidentified persons threatened Dr. I. Ryntathiang and alleged that she had not attended to a patient, Ibapynsuklin Wanniang, who was brought to the hospital for treatment.
Later, the patient absconded from the hospital.
Dr. Ryntathiang has filed a police complaint in this regard.
Attempts were made to contact the medical superintendent of Nongstoin civil hospital but the officer could not be reached.
