Accidents
On July 11 at 7.30 pm, one Chevrolet car (ML-05N-5290) driven by Solomon Reynold Nongsiej (33) knocked down three pedestrians, Mamta Thapa (23), Rita Thapa (19) and Rakhi Sunar (19) at 101 Area, Upper Shillong. Victims sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Shillong. Police detained the driver.
On July 11 at around 2.30 pm, one scooty (ML-05M-7361) ridden by a minor boy (16) knocked down Sangmo Lama (9) at AR Bazar, Happy Valley. Victim sustained injuries and was admitted at Woodland Hospital, Shillong. Police detained the scooty rider.
On July 11 at around 5.30 pm, one Tata Sumo (ML-04B-3156) driven by Manik Lyngdoh (26) collided with a Bolero (ML-05N-3483) driven by Damonlang Kharbyngar (21) at Lad Smit (EKH). As a result, one female occupant of the Tata Sumo sustained injuries and was admitted at Bethany Hospital, Shillong.
Theft
On July 10 night, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of R.K. Choudhury at Army Cantonment Shopping Complex, Umiam (RB and stole twenty-six cell-phones and cash Rs. 10,000/-
On July 9 night, unknown miscreants broke into a shop belonging to Kingford Kharsyntiew at Upper New Nongstoin (WKH) and stole four tyres.
Threat
Lasting Pala, Secy, VDP Umkiang village (EJH) lodged a complaint that on July 9 at about 7.15 pm, one Aiei Labah threatened the VDP members with dire consequences at the village.
 NGT ban violation
On July 8 morning, Police detected one truck (A/F) while illegally transporting coal at Sohkymphor area (EJH).
Assault
On July 8 evening, one Samaia Swer assaulted her husband Jimmy Bordoloi in her residence at Khliehriat East (EJH).
