Car loan fraud
S.K. Sinha, Chief Manager, Punjab National Bank, Police Bazar Branch, Shillong lodged a complaint that on September 21, 2015, one Kyntiewborlang Syiemlieh took a car loan of Rs. 7,44,000- from the bank, but till date no documents have been submitted to the bank and repayment of the loan remained irregular.
Tyre stolen

On July 14 at around 7.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one car tyre belonging to one Anil Kumar Singh from near Bawri Netralaya (Eye Clinic), Shillong.
Assault case
On July 13 at around 11.30 am, two persons namely, Wanshanmi Dkhar (23) and Cleverson Shadap (26) assaulted one Danny Franklin Muksor at Ummulong (WJH) causing injuries to him.
Phone stolen
On July 13 at around 7 pm, one unidentified person stole one mobile phone from the shop of one Anish Kumar Singh at Mawlonghat, Shillong.
Motorcycle stolen
On July 13, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-07A-9593) belonging to one Predish M Sangma from his compound at Babupara, Tura (WGH).
B’deshi held  
On July 11, a residents of Dalamgre village (WGH) apprehended one Bangladesh national namely, Md. Talwar Hussain @ Gulam Zulwar Hussain from the village and handed him to Police.
Accident
An ambulance (ML05H – 1803) proceeding towards Shillong from Mawlong was hit by a dumper truck coming from the opposite direction. The driver along with a co passenger of the Mahindra Max ambulance sustained injuries during the collision which took place near the Block Development Office at 5th Mile, Upper Shillong under Mylliem Block in East Khasi Hills on Saturday
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Mawphlang helped in shifting the driver Barnabas Nongrum (30) and an occupant Comini Khllep (24) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
