SHILLONG: A prominent resident of Police Bazar, S.L. Singhania, has complained that the power supply in Police Bazar has been very erratic and there have been regular power outages since the last many days.
He alleged that not a single day passes without any power cut in Police Bazar. The duration of the power cuts sometimes run into several hours.
He also said there is no prior information about such power cuts in the area.
When contacted, officials from MeECL said that anyone facing power cuts should immediately contact the designated area manager of MeECL and such complaints would be looked into immediately.
