SHILLONG: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped and impregnated by one Sunil Prasad, a resident of Lower Mawprem. The parents of the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the Lumdiengjri Police Station at 8:30 pm on Thursday after the girl had to be taken to a doctor following a complication. The accused, who allegedly repeatedly raped the girl for few months, was arrested by the police.
