Two drown

SHILLONG: Two persons have drowned in separate incidents in the state in the last two days. On Tuesday at around 10 am one Biswajit Sangma (18) drowned in Umtrew River at Byrnihat. Efforts are on to retrieve his body. In a similar incident, one Lesterly Pala drowned while swimming in Jadukata River at Ranikor. The incident happened on September 5.
