SHILLONG: The State government has assured the House on Wednesday that the Judicial Inquiry Commission report on the financial irregularities in GHADC will be tabled in due course of time. Retired Judge PG Agarwal had probed the GHADC scam.
Replying to a question by NPP legislator James Sangma, District Council Affairs Minister Prestone Tynsong said his department was in touch with other departments concerned for a detailed examination of the findings and once their views are available, the report will be tabled.
Earlier, raising a supplementary question, Sangma said there was a deliberate attempt by the government to delay tabling of the report as it was way back on December 29, 2012, that the report was submitted to the government.
