SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma has batted for involving traditional institutions to address the problem of landless people.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday Sangma said the land holding system differs from place to place and the respective traditional bodies should discuss and introspect how to deal with the matter within their jurisdiction.
Responding to a query, he said that the Government itself did not have land which it could allot to the people.
