Three flee with vehicle

SHILLONG: Three persons, including one woman, fled  with a Bolero after intoxicating the driver.
Police said as per the FIR filed by Nitai Dev of Hawakhana in Tura (WGH), the incident happened on September  24. Three persons, who were staying at Hotel Rikman in Tura took his Bolero driven by Md. Feroz Ahmed for ferrying a patient from Tura to Guwahati International Hospital. However, on September 25, around 3.05am, Dev was informed over the phone that his driver Md. Feroz Ahmed was admitted in a hospital in Assam.
During enquiry, the driver said the passengers offered him food and and he fell unconscious after eating it. Later, the passengers took the Bolero along with the vehicle documents, the driver’s  mobile phone and a bag containing cash of Rs 7,000. Tura Police is coordinating with Assam police in the matter.
