114 cattle seized

SHILLONG: BSF troops, on Wednesday, seized a total number of 114 cattle from the bordering area of Beldova in South West Garo Hills while they were being smuggled to Bangladesh. A BSF special patrolling party noticed suspicious movement of few persons along with the cattle and immediately cordoned the area. However, the miscreants fled taking advantage of the dense forest and thick vegetation. A thorough search was carried out and a large number of cattle was recovered.
