Celebrations in honour of Mother Teresa conclude in Tura

TURA: Celebrations to commemorate the Canonisation of Mother Teresa in the Diocese of Tura came to a religious conclusion with a special programme for the clergy and the religious on Tuesday at the Cathedral Church, Tura. The highlights of the programme was a special talk on Mother Teresa followed by an hour long prayer and a solemn holy Mass presided over by Bishop Andrew Marak and concelebrated by Bishop George Mamalassery and more than 60 priests working in the diocese. A large number of nuns and seminarians too attended the programme. The Cathedral choir and Sisters of Charity presented special numbers during the Holy Mass. Since the Canonisation of Mother Teresa in Rome on 4th September, various programmes had been organised by the Catholic Church all over the diocese.
