On October 15 around 9.45 AM, one maxi cab (ML10-9912) driven by Silverius Syiemiong (26) knocked down one minor girl at Mawdngung under Mawngap outpost. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to CHC Mawphlang for treatment.
On October 13 around 6.20 AM, one unknown vehicle knocked down two pedestrians Syndong I Phawa (20) and Damonbha Dhar (20) at Ladthalaboh, Jowai, West Jaintia Hills. Victims sustained injuries and were admitted at Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital, Jowai for treatment. A criminal case has been registered in this connection.
