Career guidance
The career guidance programme for Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2016 under Chief Minister’s Career Guidance and Counseling Scheme’ for the aspirants of the Sohra Sub -Division will be held at St. John Bosco Hall Parish, Maraikaphon, Sohra on October 20 instead of the Conference Room of the Office of the SDO (Civil).
Singing competition
The 12th edition of Sur Sargam, a singing competition, will be held on November 6 at U So So Tham Auditorium. The auditions will be held at the complex of Shillong Secondary School on October 23 from 10.00 am onwards. To register participants can contact 8414804039.
District level competition
As part of the observance of National Disaster Reduction Day on October 29, the West Jaintia Hills District Disaster Management Authority, Jowai will conduct a district level competition for designing a logo for the ‘Meghalaya State Disaster Management Authority on October 24. IGNOU tests
IGNOU Shillong will conduct entrance tests for management programmes (Openmat-XL), B.Ed. and B.Sc.N (pb) for the sessions starting from January 2016 on October 23. Hall tickets have been uploaded on the University’s website.
