Body recovered
On Thursday morning, police recovered one unidentified male dead body, 55/60 years, from 11th Mile, Byrnihat, Ri Bhoi. The cadaver was sent to Civil Hospital Nongpoh for post-mortem examination.
Trespassing
One Ripamchi Sangma, on October 24, lodged a complaint stating that one unidentified miscreant attempted to break into her quarter at New DC Colony, Williamnagar. He was later found hiding in the compound of her quarter, but managed to escape.
Assault
On October 23, one Leobirth U Marak and one Roma Rabha reportedly quarreled while they were returning from Rani market, Ri Bhoi. Leobirth was later found lying in a pool of blood and was admitted to GMCH Guwahati while Rabha is absconding.
