SHILLONG: Two cases of attempted murder have been reported in the state this week. On Saturday, one Adam Nongkynrih, 37, attempted to murder his sister Lourdes S Nongkynrih at Mawpat, Shillong. Police have arrested the accused. In another incident, one Marilla A Marak lodged a complaint against one Job D Sangma for assaulting and attempting to murder her in her residence at Gonggangre village in South Garo Hils at around 7pm, on October 26.
