Two die of suffocation in WJH

JOWAI: Two persons were found dead on Monday morning inside a farm house at Pohkhyllem, Myntdu near Syntu Ksiar area. The duo were identified as Jantoni Dhar (42) and his 15-year-old nephew, Deiplanmi Dhar, both residents of Pam-manik village in West Jaintia Hills. Police suspects that the cause of death was caused due to suffocation from toxic smoke emitting from a generator which was kept for charging batteries in the farm house. The farm house belongs to one Nikson Lakiang of Panaliar Jowai. The relatives of the deceased have asked for PM exemption which was granted.
