Threat
Tyllilang Myrthong lodged a complaint that some unknown persons had posted questionable images online to defame and insult the complainant’s religious belief and also threatened him with dire consequences.
Sengjan Marak and Kimjeng G Momin lodged a joint FIR that on October 28, one Armit Sangma, president and Noho Marak, secretary, VEC Kantra village under Songsak PS (EGH), threatened the complainants with dire consequences. The FIR further alleged that earlier on October 21, the accused persons manhandled one of the complainants, Sengjan Marak causing grievous injuries to him.
One knocked down
On November 1 around 4.30 pm, one Maruti car (ML-05F-3836) driven by one Md. Hadish knocked down Anita Das (26 yrs) at Upper Mawprem. Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong.
Collision
On November 1 around 5.10 pm, one scooty (ML-05P-3046) ridden by Amar Bahadur Limbu (56 yrs) collided with a motorcycle (ML-05K-3162) ridden by Jivan Singh (36 yrs) at Sawlad, Madanrting. As a result, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong.
On November 1 around 7 pm, one motorcycle (ML-05-4640) ridden by Khlainborlang Kharkongor (29 yrs) collided with one auto-rickshaw (ML-05J-2176) driven by Teibor Nonglang at NEIGRIHMS Gate, Mawdiangdiang (EKH). As a result, the motorcycle rider and one pillion rider sustained injuries and were admitted at NEIGRIHMS for treatment.
ATM fraud
Seria Marwet lodged a complaint that on October 31, she received a phone call from a person impersonating as bank official asking for her ATM details. Later, she detected that cash amounting to Rs. 11,697/- was debited from her SBI account.
Theft
On the intervening night of October 31 and November 1, unknown miscreants stole car tape and woofer from a vehicle (ML-05F-7684) belonging to Shadab Ahmed which was parked near Lumdiengjri Masjid, Shillong.
On October 30 night, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Lamphrang Shylla at DC Junction, Jowai (WJH) and stole clothes valued around Rs. 65,000/-.
